Terms of Purchase and Use
The most affordable ticket can be purchased in advance of your trip at flybussen.no.
You can always buy tickets on the bus, but at a higher price than when purchased in advance. Tickets with a QR code must be ready for inspection when boarding (the reference number/QR code alone is not a valid ticket). If you cannot present a valid ticket, you must purchase one from the driver.
You must bring your ticket for the entire journey. It is your own responsibility to ensure that the ticket is not lost.
If you cannot present a valid ticket during a ticket inspection, a fee may apply. You must also be able to present valid identification/proof to document the correct ticket type.
As a customer, you are responsible for ensuring that:

the correct travel route and date are selected

the correct ticket category is selected (remember proof if you are entitled to a discount)

the correct email address is entered during purchase
Tickets cannot be changed or refunded.
Ticket validity: When you buy a ticket at flybussen.no, you must choose your preferred route and departure time, but the ticket is valid for the entire day on the selected route, allowing you to travel at any time that suits you on the chosen travel date.
How do I stop the Flybussen? Passengers are responsible for being at the bus stop well before the bus arrives, standing clearly visible at the stop, and giving a clear hand signal to the driver when the bus approaches so that the bus will stop. The bus only stops on signal.
Technical issues on the website? If downtime or other technical problems make it impossible to purchase tickets at flybussen.no, tickets must be purchased onboard the bus. The ticket price on the bus is normally higher than online. We do not refund the price difference between onboard and online purchases in the event of downtime or technical issues. We recommend that you buy your ticket well in advance of departure.
Inquiries and complaints: To make a claim, you must send us a written inquiry no later than 3 months after the incident. We will respond as quickly as possible, usually within 4 weeks of receiving your inquiry.
Please note that if we do not receive your response to our follow-up within 3 months, the case will be considered expired, and any claims will no longer be valid.
Ticket Information
Adult ticket
Adult tickets apply to passengers aged 18 or older.
When purchasing a single adult ticket, children under 4 years travel for free. Children under 4 do not need their own ticket.
Child ticket
All children under 4 travel free with us.
A child ticket applies to children aged 4 through 17.
Student ticket
Full-time students under 31 years of age are entitled to a student discount. Valid student ID must be presented to the driver when boarding. Valid proof includes: student card with confirmation of paid semester fee, digital student ID on mobile phone, or documentation/school ID confirming attendance for the current semester, together with a bank card, driver’s license, passport, or other photo ID. For students studying abroad, only an ISIC card is accepted as valid student proof. Discounts are not granted for participants in short evening courses or language courses.
Senior ticket
Concession discounts apply to single tickets for all passengers over 67, blind passengers, and passengers receiving disability benefits from NAV. Valid proof/ID must be presented to the driver when boarding. Accompanying travelers who do not meet the requirements for concession fare are not entitled to a discount.
Conscription ticket
Conscripts serving their initial military service receive a discount on single tickets. Defense ID or call-up letter for initial military service is accepted as proof and must be presented voluntarily upon boarding.
Family ticket – incl. 4 children
A family ticket includes 1 adult and up to 4 of their own children aged 4 through 17. The family ticket does not apply to school classes/sports teams or larger groups travelling together.
Return ticket
When purchasing an adult return ticket at flybussen.no, the discount is applied automatically. This discount only applies to adult tickets, as we do not offer return discounts in addition to other discounts such as child, senior, conscription, or student discounts.
When purchasing a return ticket onboard the bus, the return is open for 75 days (the return trip must be used within 75 days). It is important to keep the ticket, as it must be shown on the return journey.
Return Family Ticket – incl. 4 children
A return family ticket includes 1 adult and up to 4 of their own children aged 4 through 17. This ticket does not apply to school classes/sports teams or larger groups travelling together.
Companions/Escort
Only companions assisting deafblind passengers travel for free. Apart from this, no discount is given to companions/travelers with a companion certificate.

This is how the ticket cooperation between Flybussen Stavanger and Kolumbus works:
You save money TO the airport:
All bus passengers with a Kolumbus ticket receive a discount (NOK 45 or NOK 23) when purchasing a ticket on board Flybussen Stavanger.
You save money FROM the airport:
Anyone purchasing a ticket with Flybussen Stavanger receives 1.5 hours of free transfer to Kolumbus buses by presenting the Flybussen ticket.
Terms and Conditions:
The discount applies to Kolumbus buses in Stavanger, Sandnes, Sola, Randaberg, Rennesøy and Ålgård. The transfer must take place within 1.5 hours.
The trip from the airport can be purchased on board or at flybussen.no.
The discount does not apply to round-trip tickets, home-work-home, school passes, groups, or Avinor discounted tickets.
Note: You must purchase a ticket from the driver on board the Flybussen or buy it on the website to receive this discount.
